A tour of early medieval church sites north of Waterville at Aghatubrid, Cloghanecarhan and Spunkane on Sunday, 19th August, guided by UCC archaeologist, John Sheehan.

Features of these sites will include remains of a gable-shaped shrine, hermitage, hut-sites, souterrain, cross-slab, ogham stone, etc. We will meet at 2p.m. at Tech Amergin car park, Waterville.
