Culture Cinema & Afternoon at the Movies programme Autumn 2017

Culture Cinema night in association with Access Cinema takes place on the last Thursday of every month re-commencing on the 28th September. All screenings start at 8pm.
ACCESS CINEMA is the resource organisation for regional cultural cinema exhibition in Ireland giving local people an opportunity to see minority interest films. Their core activity is booking and despatching films on 35mm, DCP and DVD formats on behalf of their member groups. Admission for each screening is €5. BOX OFFICE 066 9478956. However, everything changes as he encounters the young family who move in next door. Rolf Lassgård excels as Ove in this true crowd-pleaser.

Ozons enthralling romantic drama, set in post WW1 Germany centres on a grieving woman, Anna, who finds a young Frenchman, Adrien, laying flowers at the grave of her fiancé. Revealing himself to be an old friend of Frantz, Adrien reignites a long departed joy in Anna. But was there more to his relationship with Frantz than is being revealed?

Provost (Violette, Seraphine) unites two of Frances favourite actors in this tender comedy drama about rediscovery and female friendship.  Claire (Frot) is the conscientious Midwife of the title, a single mother whose self-restraint has her living a muted life. Until one day Beatrice (Deneuve), her fathers care-free ex girlfriend makes contact, bringing chaos, joy and memories of happier times.



Afternoon at the Movies

In addition to our regular culture cinema screenings (in association with Access Cinema) we also offer screenings in the afternoon, on the first Wednesday of every month at 2pm and will run from October to December 2017. Admission for each screening is €5.


Sense of an Ending, The_final quad

The Sense of an Ending WEDNESDAY 4TH OCTOBER
