Mosaic Art 7.00 – 10.00pm  
This course is for those new to the craft of Mosaics. By the end of the course each student will have learned and used a range of Mosaic craft and design processes and will have at least one completed Mosaic. Individuals will learn life saving skills including CPR, defibrillator usage, & choking. Traditional singing classes which will focus on developing repertoire as well as traditional ornamentation

A very practical skills based course looking at fathers who have, due to unemployment, taken on a greater parenting role in the household. Topics that will be covered over two Saturdays: colours that suit you best, styles that suit your body shape, everything about make-up, skin care, hair styles and colours, lingerie, accessories and how all this will enhance your self esteem.

Country Wine Making Saturday 27th February 10.00am - 4.00pm  
Use the fruits and flowers of the Countryside to produce delicious home-made wines. This one-day workshop explains how easy it is. Learn about fermentation, the brewing process, the equipment needed, how to bottle and store your produce. It even offers you a chance to indulge in a little tasting session. Course fee includes the basic equipment to get you started with 5L of your own produce. All you do is bring along 3 - 4lbs of the fruit or vegetables you want to turn into wine. Create your own bottle of wine for as little as 40c!

* Back To Education Initiative Courses (BTEI)
The overall aim of BTEI is to increase the participation of adults with less than upper second
level education in a range of flexible learning opportunities leading to formal recognition of
learners’ achievements through the National Framework of Qualifcations. No fees apply for
people in receipt of Social Welfare Payments or early school leavers. Childcare subsidy available
for learners enrolled in BTEI courses.

Self-financing programmes covering a wide range of hobby and professional courses.

* * * Community Education Courses (Comm. Ed.)
Kerry Education Service Community Education programme aims to provide locally based
education programmes that are responsive to the local community's needs at affordable rates.

Confidential one-to-one tuition available in reading, writing and spelling at a time that suits
you in a comfortable setting. Family literacy courses also include Storysacks, Maths for Parents,
Dads & Lads courses, The Power of Encouragement, Ceramics Taster, Basic Maths
through Arts & Crafts, Creative Writing, English for Internationals, Communications,
Writing, Spelling and Reading available through the Literacy/Basic Adult Education programme.

Course fees  


Fees: Fees must be paid in full before beginning classes. Fees can be paid by cash or cheque (made payable to Kerry Education Service). All course fees are receipted.

Cancelled Classes: All classes/workshops are based on a minimum number. Pre-booking is essential at least a week before the start of the class/workshop. Refunds or fees are made only where classes are cancelled due to insufficient enrolment numbers. A refund of your tuition fees will be prepared and forwarded to you at your postal address.
