LEARN HOW TO USE your digital camera/mobile phone to take a photograph to help promote your business, product or service Saturday 8th, 22nd April, 6th, 27th May, 10am – 2pm
New specialised workshop aimed at showing you how to better promote your business, product or service. In this workshop you will learn how to take a good photograph using your camera or phone. You will be guided by professional photographer Michael Herrmann who will show you how to maximise the features in your camera or phone to facilitate taking an excellent image.
Subject to enough interest the next workshop will teach you how use your digital camera or phone to take a video which can then be uploaded to youtube or social media. Fee: €40 (subsidised by Community Education / KETB). 4 days. http://www.techamergin.com/archives/7323

Spring Colour Garden Photography
Saturday 29th April, 10am – 4pm
In this one-day workshop you will visit Kells Bay Garden to photograph
the huge variety of plants and trees in their beautiful spring colours. You will learn how to take images with strong shapes and colours and interesting compositions.

Use houseplants for improving indoor air quality.
NASA, studied houseplants as a way to purify the air in space facilities. Environmental workshop on how to clean indoor air from toxins. Furniture, flooring, cleaning products and computers all contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs), gases that pollute indoor air. Breathing these compounds are identified as a factor in allergic reactions, respiratory tract irritations, to more serious conditions like cancer. Lesley MacVean
